Schwarz at 03:10 PM EST On October 1, after dubiously assessing Syracuse University’s chances of attracting football fans in New York City (trust me—it all had to do with history), I wrote: “Rutgers has even less of a shot, not least because their team is so lousy.” For the record, on Saturday Rutgers won at Syracuse to raise their record to 4-2. Syracuse is now 1-5. I appreciate the forbearance of our fellow blogger Audrey Peterson, a Rutgers graduate, in not pointing this out herself.
