Barack Obama and Peter Pace Posted by Joshua Zeitz at 12:15 PM EST As a follow-up to my last post, and in the interest of fairness: When asked whether he agreed with General Peter Pace that homosexuality is immoral, Sen. Barack Obama replied: “I think traditionally the Joint Chiefs of Staff chairman has restricted his public comments to military matters. That’s probably a good tradition to follow. . . . I think the question here is whether somebody is willing to sacrifice for their country, should they be able to if they’re doing all the things that should be done.” Not quite worthy of Profiles in Courage.
