2003.002.002 Autograph Signature that belonged to George A. Custer. Reads: "G. A. Custer Cadet U.S.M.A. May 1861." General George A. Custer - large signature as a cadet at West Point during the early days of the Civil War. Boldly signed G.A. Custer - Cadet U.S.M.A. - May 1861. Written and signed by Custer just one month before he was to graduate from West Point and begin his career with the U.S. Cavalry. A superb and large signature.
