One Page document from General Mansfield Lovell - Columbia, South Carolina in 1864 Defends his actions during the Fall of New Orleans. This is connected to the Court of Inquiry into the fall of New Orleans without a fight. Addressed to Honorable Judge Charles Villere and written from his HQ at Columbia, South Carolina in which he discusses Judge Walker's attack on him in references to the people of New Orleans. We have an image of Walker 2004.002.200 in our collection.
