Marquis De Lafayette Flintlock Pistol

French flintlock pistol made by Nante Duval in Loire between 1760 and 1770. The beautifully worked brass trim and eagle's head pommel are typical of guns from this period. The pistol reportedly belonged to the Marquis de Lafayette.
