Sideboard

Mahogany sideboard, with ionic full columns which end in lion's paw feet. Five dove-tailed drawer construction. Replacement repousse ormolu rosettes with brass ring pulls on second drawer. The top three drawers have had their original knobs replaced with locks. Original pulls were either mahogany or glass. Rear feet are ball shaped bun feet.

A marble-topped walnut sideboard dated ca. 1870-1880. The sideboard is built in the Renaissance Revival style with Gothic elements. Note: Item has been refinished and lock escutcheon plate on one door rebuilt. Possibly retains original mirror.
