Christmas card sent by donor's father while stationed at US Naval Academy between 1934-1938. On the front is an engraving of the Academy and the text "Christmas Greetings from the Regiment of Midshipmen." To the inside right is affixed a picture of the Engagement of the USF Constellation and the L'Insurgente. Below the picture the name "Elton" is handwritten. A paper taped to the inside left reads "THE ENGAGEMENT OF THE U. S. S. CONSTELLATION AND THE L'INSURGENTE / West Indies - February 10, 1799"
