Adjustable Walnut Rocking Chair

Content Description: 

Chair, Rocking. Adjustable walnut rocking chair with red cloth seat, back, & armrests. Vernacular style with Renaissance Revival elements. 2 plain rectangular profile rockers attached with bolts to back feet. At front top of both rockers is an iron ratchet that allows the front legs to move into four different positions. 3 turned stretchers, front, center, and back hold rockers together. Legs pivot at seat where they cross, armrests and supports also pivot to adjustment. Handholds of arm rests have applied, pressed sawdust and glue decorative boss on either side. Cloth on seat, back & armrest pads attached with decorative headed upholstery tacks, trimmed with decorative gimp along cloth edges.
