Infant's white cotton bodice ending just under the bust having short sleeves and a low, square neckline. Neckline and sleeves edged in hand-sewn eyelet ruffle. Center front of piece has Broderie Anglaise embroidery in foliate and eyelet pattern with larger eyelets edged in satin stitch and filled with needle netting. Sleeves have epaulets in similar style with openings infilled with netting and thread-covered button decorations at each corner of epaulet, attaching it to sleeve. Band below bust has hand-made eyelets. Bodice opens at center back with scalloped eyelet edging and no closures. Center back is gathered near opening. Back is decorated with larger openings infilled with netting as well as smaller eyelets.
