Chair, Arm American, New York or Massachusetts, Federal Satinwood Armchair, c. 1800. one of a set of four, with shield back carved with flowers, swags and Prince-of-Wales plumes, molded arms terminating in rosettes, over upholstered seat, square tapering reeded legs ending in spade feet. Yellow silk damask upholstery and brass tacks.
