Chair, Arm American, Massachusetts, Hickory, Maple, and Pine Hoop Back Windsor Arm Chair, made by John Beal Jr., c. 1795-1805. with plank saddle seat, "bamboo" turned splayed legs joined by stretchers. Original dark red paint on bottom of seat. Impressed "J. Beal, Jr." on bottom of seat.
