Chair, Commode American, probably Philadelphia, Queen Anne Walnut Corner Commode Chair, c. 1740-1750. with two pierced Vase shaped splats and S-shaped supports, slip seat above deep apron, raised on four cabriole legs ending in trifid feet (socked drake feet in Philadelphia). Center leg shell carved. Slip seat covered with red wool damask.
