Chair, Side American, probably Petersburg, Virginia, Chippendale Cherry Side Chair, c. 1770-1790. one of a pair, with shaped crest rail ending with carved volute ears, pierced beaker shaped splat, slip seat, chamfered legs joined by stretchers. Slipcovered with cotton green and white check pattern.
