Originally painted in 1840, this print is a reproduction from Horizon. A caption to the right-hand side of the image reads, "'He is the most transparent man I ever saw,' said Emma Wedgwood of the cousin she was to marry. Water colors painted in 1840 by the popular portraitist George Richmond show how alike Emma and Charles were in looks. Their similarity in temperament made their marriage a most happy one."
