Coin: Wooden Nickel - Mark Twain Centennial - 5 cent .2a) Thin strip of balsam wood made to mimic a dollar bill. Done in black ink. Ornamental border around edges, a one in each corner. At center near top is logo for the Mark Twain Centennial Committee. Notation of worth at either side of logo. Advertisement for the Mark Twain Pageant at bottom of front. On back, border is same as on front. Commemoration notice at top center of back. Below notice is signature and position of Morris Anderson and E.D.V. Dickey. In bottom corners of back are American eagles on shield with arrows and olive branch. .2b) Thin strip of balsam wood made to mimic a dollar bill. Done in green ink. Ornamental border around edges, a two in each corner. At center near top is logo for the Mark Twain Centennial Committee. Notation of worth at either side of logo.
