Content Description:
Dragoon-style cartridge box with half of its original leather waist belt surviving. Cover flap slit to button over a now missing stud on box front. Inside are eleven remaining (from twelve) individual tin cylindrical inserts to accommodate a dozen paper cartridges. Waist belt is 2 1/2" wide and tapers to buckle end. Buckle is wrought steel.
