Flag, Confederate. Battle flag of 5th Florida Infantry Regiment. St. Andrew's Cross pattern, square format. Red field (wool bunting). Blue Cross (wool bunting). Orange/brown border (wool bunting). Thirteen white five-pointed stars (polished cotton). White heading (cotton canvas) with 3 hand sewn eyelets. Unit designation: 5/FLORIDA in individual white (cotton muslin) letters sewn to field on upper quadrant. Flag pattern is Army of Northern Virginia, second bunting issue.
