Flag, Confederate. Battle flag of the First Florida Infantry Regiment. Hardee Pattern. Rectangular format. Dark blue field. White disc (cotton muslin) in center with inscriptions. White border (cotton muslin) on three sides. (White cotton disc and border aged to a dark tan). White cotton heading on right side (rather than left); seven hand-sewn eyelet holes along heading. Inscribed faintly on disc: 1st FLORIDA/SHILOH and PERRYVILLE.
