Painting, Acrylic. Memory Painting. Title: LOOK NEW CROP. An acrylic painting by Margot C. Warren (Maggie) of an orange grove in the central Highlands Ridge of Florida. In bright colors and light, the painter depicts rows of heavily laden orange trees on a ridge with pickers on ladders filling cloth bags. Trees are watered from standpipes among the trees and a tank truck. Dirt road gives access to grove. A woman sits selling bags of oranges in foreground. Visitors with children park nearby. Painting is in folk style and known as a Memory Painting.
