Flag, Confederate. Battle flag of 4th Florida Infantry Regiment. St. Andrew's Cross pattern, rectangular format. Red field (wool bunting). Blue Cross (wool bunting). No border. Thirteen white five-pointed stars (cotton muslin). Wide white edging of cross (cotton muslin). Thin heading of same material and color patterns as flag, with four sets of orange/brown ties or broken loops (4th uppermost tie is no longer present). Flag pattern is Army of Tennessee, Augusta Depot issue. Marked with Federal capture number: 212. Capture information also marked on flag in ink.
