Rectangular Chinese mother-of-pearl game counter, the front engraved with an arm grasping a snake (the crest of Nourse of Weston-under-Penyard in Herefordshire, and of Woodeaton in Oxfordshire), the reverse having a central medallion engraved with the scene of a Chinese man seated amongst a landscape, set within a saw-tooth border containing engraved flowers, all contained within an elaborate floral engraved border.
