Rifle, half stock. Brass trimmed. Jameston, NC school style. No patch box. Barrel held in by one pin, no escutcheon Lock plate inscribed: JOSH. GOLCHER. Barrel marked: A. LAMB. Golcher of Philadelphia and Lamb of N.C. Both 1850s. Has tiger stripe maple stock, set trigger. Double base on front sight is a mountain type. Silver front sight. Missing ramrod and nose cap. Barrel tang broken -- held in place now with a wire around lock and stock area. Lockplate is loose.
