Medal, Commemorative. Japanese Military Medal. Known as Order of the Rising Sun (Fourth Class) presented to Major (later Colonel) William C. Miller, U. S. Army, together with a citation by Japanese government. Symbolizes rising sun with light rays of gold and enamel. Two piece metal construction attached to a red and white ribbon and is contained in a lacquer box tied with braided red silk cord with tassels.
