Ornament. Or Japanese Temari. Styrofoam ball covered with cotton fabric (or batting) is wrapped with bright blue silk thread to completely cover surface; geometric design band running vertically around center of ball is embroidered in pink and white silk threads and silver and gold metallic threads; at either side is gold metallic thread star pattern. At top is gold-colored metallic hanging loop; at bottom is bright blue tassel attached to ball by decorative knot of thick gold colored metallic braid.
