One page manuscript letter, dated February 20, 1806, from the Office of the Register to Callender Irvine, Esq., Superintendent of Military Stores, Philadelphia [Pennsylvania], requesting the conveyance of a package to the land office in Zanesville [Ohio]. The contents read: "Treasury Department / Register's Office / Feby. 20th. 1806 / Sir. / Mr. Hyde will deliver you a box for the Register of the Land Office at Zanesville, which I request you will be pleased to forward by the first opportunity. / I have the honor to be / very respectfully / Sir, / Your Obedt. Servt. / Jos. Dawson / for the Register"
