Content Description: 

The Soldier's Visitor- Richmond, Virginia, of January 1865. Christian newspaper out of Richmond. Reprint included of a letter from Robert E. Lee to his son, dated April 5, 1852. Letter written to Lee's son, while Lee was on his way to New Mexico. One of the things that he writes about is not making friends by doing anything wrong, also not to do anything to keep a friend by doing something wrong. Another article compares the strength of the metal plates used on Ironclads with the strength and power of the Word of God. Other articles include one entitled: "Army Missionaries" Presbyterian Newspaper from Richmond.
