Painted Militia Knapsack

Content Description: 

Handwoven canvas knapsack painted with an oil paint in a blue green color. Leather straps attached to keep it closed. Buckles missing. Large oval outline on flap of knapsack in red with the letters M.A. in script. M.A. may stand for Massachusetts Artillery. Letters L or SP on back in black, probably initials of owner. Found in attic with Fiske family items.
