Flag, Confederate. Battle Flag of the 2nd Florida Infantry Regiment. St. Andrew's Cross pattern, square format. Red field (wool bunting). Blue Cross (wool bunting). Gray?/white border (wool bunting). 13 white 5-pointed stars (3 missing due to loss of lower right arm of cross) made of cotton muslin. Thin white edging (cotton muslin). White heading (cotton canvas) with 3 hand sewn eyelets. 15 attached strips marked with battle honors & unit designation (See Inscription for list). Flag pattern is Army of Northern Virginia, 6th or 7th bunting issue. Lower right arm of cross no longer present. Federal capture number: 414 on upper border.
