Flag, Confederate. Battle flag of the 2nd Florida Infantry Regiment. St. Andrew's Cross pattern, square format. Red field (wool bunting). Blue cross (wool bunting). White edging (cotton muslin). 13 white 5-pointed stars (cotton muslin), stars are inset from corners. White border on three sides (wool bunting). White heading, which has 3 sewn eyelets (cotton twill weave fabric). This flag is that of the Army of Northern Virginia, third bunting issue. Inscribed with 2nd Florida and nine battle honors on strips of cloth sewn to flag.
