Flag, Confederate. Fly Section of Battle Flag of the 1st Florida Infantry; approx. 1/3 of entire flag, including upper right arm of St. Andrew's Cross (see diagram); red field (cotton-wool blend?) Dark blue cross (cotton) White edging (linen tape). Yellow border on two sides (wool bunting). Three 6-pointed white stars (silk taffeta) on cross. Flag type is sometimes called a "first Bragg pattern."
