Content Description:
A Seminole man's shirt made by Jan Tiger in 1956 as a replica of a 1900 plain shirt. Composed of brown, gray and white striped fabric, the shirt has a 1 inch banded collar with a 2-button closure at front. The bodice is gathered to shoulder yoke. Long sleeves gather at top and are sewn to yoke and bodice; sleeve send are gathered to a 3 3/4 inch band at the wrist, no closure. Bodice is trimmed with "mountain" patchwork in pink, tan, blue and green. See worksheet for more detail.
