Content Description: 

Nearly round brown pouch made in two halves, sewn with flat leather strips (possibly rawhide) overcast to produce a flat seam. Spout is whittled from hardwood and the leather has been split and re-sewn over slight flange at base of spout. Stopper is carved from pine. Neck of spout is wrapped with string and cord; this may have secured leather around spout. Homemade.
