Content Description: 

Flag, Confederate. Battle flag of 6th Florida Infantry Regiment Volunteers. St. Andrews Cross pattern, rectangular format. Red field, (wool bunting). Blue cross (wool bunting). White edging of cross (cotton, heavy muslin?) Thirteen (one of 13 is no longer present) white stars (cotton, heavy muslin) white painted inscription: 6th Regt/Fla Vols. No heading. Hoist edge appears to have a turned under hem. Inscriptions related to its capture on edgings of lower left arm of cross. Flag pattern is an Army of Tennessee, Augusta Depot issue. Capture number 221.
