SIlver plate tea kettle (a), stand (b), and heating element (c), possibly English. Kettle has ivory handle, attached lid with floral finial, and two pins on either side that fit into strapwork supports of stand, which holds holding heating element at bottom center. Heating element is round, with hole at top for wick. According to prior cataloging, bears Sheffield mark resembling Smith Sissions & Co. Kettle engraved with the Coat-of-Arms of the United States.
