Suit, Woman's. Two-piece light blue wool suit. Belonged to Thelma Brinson Johns, wife of Acting Governor Charley Johns (1953-1954). A: Jacket. Long sleeved suit jacket of light blue wool tweed fabric. Has round Peter Pan collar, two-button closure. One fabric-covered button is at the neck, other at waist. Full length sleeves with turned back cuffs. Two beam pockets are set vertically on either side of front opening at chest level. Lined with pale blue fabric. B: Skirt. Has four-panel matching skirt with center seamed back and front. Front center seam has a set-in band decoratively outlining the seam. One-inch waistband has hook and eye closure and 6 1/2" metal zipper. Matching lining is knee-length. 2 3/4" hem.
