Content Description: 

Footed silverplate urn with three handles, engraved trophy for "Best White Fowl / Charlotte NC / 1906 / Ivory Soap Special." Object is a silver plated metal (possibly copper or brass) trophy. There is an inscription engraved on the side that reads "For Best White Fowl Charlotte NC 1907 Ivory Soap Special" and the image of a grapevine/grapes which surround the engraved text. Trophy is basically a pear shaped piece with circular foot for standing and an open top with wavy edges at three equally spaced intervals where a handle attaches to each. Handles are are constructed of the same metal and are enlongated, slender pieces that are attached/soldered near the bottom 1/3 of the trophy and at the wavy edge at the top. There is an acanthus leaf detail at the top portion of each handle, where it attaches/is soldered to the trophy. The bottom circular stand has an inscription that reads "Made in USA Special Metal. The inscription on the bottom surrounds an unidentifiable logo or mark.
