Drawing. A Pen and Ink Drawing illustrating a folktale from Uncle Monday and Other Florida Tales entitled, Hugging Molly-Don't Much Like Being Hugged by Molly. Shows an old woman hugging a reluctant young boy. She is dressed in a short, above the knee dress and long, ragged cloak tied over shoulders. She is barefoot and is smoking a pipe. She holds a staff and with her other hand she holds the boy's arm. She has pulled him so his back is against her and he looks terrified. Flowers and trees about. Illustrates a West Florida folktale.
