Drawing. A Pen and Ink Drawing illustrating a Florida Folk Tale entitled The Little Boy and Ayayay. Drawing shows a room with table, food in basket, wicked aunt and little boy. Aunt beats him daily and this day sends him to market to buy "ayayay" (which means "Ouch") . He meets a wise old woman who gives him advice. And his life with his aunt improves. Shows a barefoot old woman with a crab hanging on to each of her hands. Boy in straw hat smiles in background.
