Drawing. Pen & Ink drawing illustrating a Folk Tale entitled, Railroad Bill -The Sheriff's Men Outfoxed. This African-American folk tale shows 3 befuddled sheriff deputies watching a fox run out of a bush, when they are expecting a man, Railroad Bill. Bill was a Robin Hood type with the ability to change into an animal or a tree. In background is a simple wood house with woman on porch and cans of food left by Railroad Bill.
