Drawing. A Pen and Ink Drawing illustrating a Florida Folk Tale entitled, Uncle Luke-Hot Potatoes from Warm Hearted Uncle Luke IV. Shows a tall man and two small girls on a path near a lake. All are dressed in winter clothes. The Man is handing a potato to the larger girl. A potato is in his other hand and a smoking bag of hot potatoes is at his feet. The smaller girl is holding up her skirt to catch a potato. A rabbit is watching. Two ducks are in the water and a boat is drawn up on shore. Illustrates a contemporary African American family story.
