Content Description: 

Birdseye maple, bag-shaped pointed grip, brass reinforcements. No markings of any kind. seems very like a Gibbs Tiffany or Quinebaug Rifle Co. gun. Barrel is round and of 2 diameters, the larger one extending 3 1/2" from the breech, ending in a decorative turned ring. Possibly an unfinished half octagon, may have been made by an apprentice boy or maker on his own time. Crude workmanship inside.

Physical Description: 

Iron/steel, wood, brass. Length - 11 15/16"; Round barrel, length - 7 3/8"; About .34 caliber.
