Handle is stocked in plain maple, stained reddish, flat bottomed instead of bag shaped; German silver ring and flat plate on bottom of handle; left flat of barrel stamped "CAST STEEL" and bottom flat serial # 200. Top strap engraved with floral design, American spread eagle and stamped "NATHL RIDER & CO./SOUTHBRIDGE, MASS."; straps are German silver and end in finials; barrel shows traces of original blue, but looks as if it might have been reblued; gun is in good sound condition in every way. Shape is very different from other Sturbridge & Southbridge guns, but mechanically it is identical.

Iron/steel, maple. Length - 11 11/16"; Half octagon barrel length - 7 1/2"; Octagon section - 2 3/4"; About .30 calibre.
