A tan pocket-size fabric case containing six implements: two scalpels, two scissors like forceps, a tweezers, and a curved instrument Four envelopes containing "aseptic silk ligatures," one envelope containing ten needles, and one aluminum box containing twelve hypodermic needles. Used by Major Claude Leonard Pridgen of the 113th Field Artillery during World War I.
