West Bay Common School Museum

When you visit the 1898 Schoolhouse Museum, the schoolmarm brings history to life with an award winning program, that includes a pen and ink lesson, reading at the recitation bench, slate lessons and a spelling bee. A recess program follows in the Barn Museum . In the Barn Museum , visitors explore the life and times of this once early cattle ranching town through a fascinating display of antiques, artifacts, and hands-on experiences. The Icehouse-Barbershop building depicts an early League City business establishment that includes a recorded story with "ghost" images.
