Edwin S. Grosvenor, President and Editor-in-Chief
Edwin Grosvenor has edited and managed four national magazines. Portfolio, launched in 1979, was the largest circulation fine arts magazine in the United States for five years and was nominated for the National Magazine Award for General Excellence. It published writing by distinguished historians, curators, and critics such as Lloyd Goodrich, Hilton Kramer, Theodore Stebbins, and John Wilmerding. He also published Current Books, a magazine of book excerpts and publications for Marriott and Hyatt Hotels. He is also the author of Alexander Graham Bell (Henry N. Abrams, 1997). Mr. Grosvenor is the sixth generation of his family involved in publishing. Both his grandfather and father were president and editor of the National Geographic Society, where his brother recently retired as chairman of the board.
Robert L. Booth, Executive Editor
Robert L. Booth is a life-long magazine journalist. He spent many years on the staff of National Geographic, becoming its Managing Editor. A native of Washington, D.C., he makes his home in Arlington, Virginia.
Robert L. Jenkins, Associate Publisher
Robert L. Jenkins is Associate Publisher, charged with developing print and digital advertising strategies. He has been with American Heritage since 2007. Previously, as the first New Media Director for ABC Radio Network/Washington DC stations, Bob educated sales personnel and clients to guide advertising and content development for good early growth and the continued expansion of the platforms. As National Sales Manager for the American Association of School Administrators, he implemented concepts that generated the highest ad revenue in AASA history. Bob studied Journalism and Marketing at the University of Hawaii and honorably served our country while in the United States Air Force.
Roger O. Selvage Jr., Art Director
Roger Selvage is the nationally award-winning Art Director of over 40 commercial and association magazines – including the USMC's Marines and US Navy’s All Hands magazines and their online incarnations. Additionally, he has served as founding Art Director of PCIA’s Newaves, St. Kitts & Nevis Visitor, AAPA’s PA Professional, AAHIVM’s HIV Specialist, Final Draft’s Script and WHFS Radio’s ’HFS Press magazines – as well as the former Art Director/Typographic Designer of Creating A Government That Works Better & Costs Less, Report of the National Performance Review by Vice President Al Gore. In addition to editorial design, he is the former Advertising Design Director of the world-renowned Nightclub 9:30 and the founding Web & Design Manager of the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce. A native of Falls Church, Virginia, he resides in Montgomery Village, Maryland.
