The Politics of National Security Posted by John Steele Gordon at 10:30 AM EST Sen. Joseph Lieberman, Independent Democrat of Connecticut, gave a very interesting speech at the Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies at Johns Hopkins University yesterday called “The Politics of National Security” that seems to me to have been underreported (neither the Washington Post nor the New York Times covered it). It looks at the history of these politics since World War II, and I think it is well worth reading. It can be found here. I would be interested in the comments of my fellow bloggers.
