Model Of Hannah, The First Armed U.S. Ship

This was the first armed vessel fitted out in the service of the United States, in 1775. In all available historical information there is not a single specific description of Hannah's design and appearance. The only physical fact known about her is that she was rated at 78 tons. This model is based on J. Chappelle's drawing of Hannah, which shows her as about 60 feet long.
