Half portrait of a seated US Military Cadet Phillip Reade. Reade signed and dated the image as a gift to his best friend J. S. Hovey, Christmas 1864. Reade was a graduate of West Point in 1867. Reade is seated with legs crossed and is seated sideways on chair. Rich color to image.
