Farm And Ranch Museum
A most noteworthy feature of the museum is that visitors are not only able to follow the advancement of tractors, but they have the opportunity to actually see the power train of the first stem engines, the oil and gasoline burning tractors. The gears of early tractors are fully exposed. This permits one to follow the transfer of power from one gear to another to its final destination of turning the wheels of the tractor. It is an exposed lesson in the magnification or reduction of power as transferred from the large to smaller gears.
