John Mcdonough


John McDonough, who has written on jazz for many years for Down Beat and The Wall Street Journal , wrote the liner notes for this month’s seventy-fifth-anniversary reissue of the Original Dixieland Jazz Band’s first recordings. He is currently a lecturer in jazz history for the Department of Music Performance Studies at Northwestern University.
